"A wonderful surprise" - a review from Trip Advisor and Open Table, October 2011
I actually purchased two coupons on a savings site and gave one to my best friend for her birthday, and one to my husband for his.  We decided to go together and it really was a wonderful surprise.  Located in Bragg Creek the setting was perfect.  We arrived to a roaring fire in the fireplace and very friendly and efficient staff.  Our meal was perfect with good portions so much so I could not finish everything, I wanted to save room for dessert which did not disappoint.  The menu had a good selection and featured Bavarian cooking at its best.  The owner and head chef made his way around the dining room to greet his guest and we actually spoke to him for awhile on the way out.  He actually is a new owner and is developing a wine bar with a possible lighter menu on the other side of the restaurant for people who don't want the full meal.  I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and they have a huge round table in the middle that can be used for larger groups.  Th atmosphere is intimate yet homey and we really enjoyed our visit and will certainly go back.
